This Chinese noir thriller is set in Wuhan, notorious for being the birthplace of the COVID-19 pandemic. A gang leader attempting to broker peace between two rival groups of motorcycle-riding thugs finds himself on the run from both his fellow criminals and the police. He takes shelter with a prostitute who must weigh her loyalty for him against the reward offered for his capture. Flashbacks illustrate the relationships between the main characters, interspersed with tense action and escape sequences.
