Set in 1970's New York, "The Deuce" follows twin brothers Frankie and Vincent Martino. As the drug epidemic and violent crime rise around them, the two become fronts for the Mafia. Operating in Times Square, they meet Eileen "Candy" Merrell. Merrell, a prostitute, sees opportunity in the now-legal industry of pornography. Led by candy, the brothers embark onto the journey of transforming pornography from a mob industry to a legitimate and legal enterprise.
