Selah is a young woman who belongs to an all-female cult led by a mysterious man known as the Shepherd. The Shepherd designates all his followers as mothers or sisters, and enforces a strict code of rules. As Selah comes of age, she befriends an outcast named Sarah and begins to question the Shepherd's teachings. She comes to find out that the spark of rebellion comes with a destructive price that could put the only world she's ever known in jeopardy.
