Supergirl is the story of Kara Danvers, an alien from the planet Krypton, who was sent to Earth as a child. She was adopted by a human family - the Danvers - and raised among humans. Now an adult, Cara has two very separate lives. As Cara Danvers, she works at Catco Worldwide Media, but as Supergirl, she works with her adoptive sister, Alex, and other government agents for a secret government organization called the DEO. There, they fight crime and repeatedly save National City, and the world, from threats from other aliens and any other superpowered bad guys.
