In a remake of the 1990 thriller, protagonist Jacob Singer can't seem to keep up his sanity after his brother comes home from fighting in the war. Singer's life begins to fall apart around him as he is haunted by flashbacks and hallucinations in which family and friends that he's known all his life begin to twist and distort themselves into distressing images, driving Singer to the brink of madness.
