Evan McCauley is on the edge of a psychological break. Hallucinations have plagued him all his life. Apparent memories of events that couldn't possibly have happened and places that he has never visited have disrupted his life. Mysterious skills that Evan has no memory of learning are triggered into action by certain events, leaving him confused sand scared. Now, a mysterious strangerr insists that it all makes sense, that Evan is merely remembering past lives. He is one of the "Infinites."
