True Detective Season 3 (2014)

Each self-contained season of this drama follows a different set of police officers. In the process of trying to solve longstanding cases, the detectives uncover dark mysteries about their own lives. Season One takes place in the creator's home state of Louisiana. Officers Hart and Rush struggle to find a serial killer whose ritualistic murders of women span almost two decades. Season Two moves the action to California where three homicide detectives attempt to solve an unusual murder case. In Season Three, a retired detective becomes obsessed with an unsolved case of missing children from the Ozark mountains of Arkansas.
