A spy agency filled with over-the-top characters and personalities are sent on a variety of wacky missions. Whether it be foiling a terrorist plot, protecting an important politician or saving the world from an evil mastermind, the spies led by Mallory Archer and her son Sterling always manage to save the day - more or less. Often times, the biggest danger to their missions are the clashes and conflicts between the agents, their support staff and their boss. Satirizing James Bond and other spy movies, Archer blends clever dialogue and complex interpersonal dynamics with standard spy movie plotlines, often with an unexpected twist or turn.
