Sean McCaffrey has become a firefighter and investigator like his deceased father Steven "Bull" McCaffrey. He's even assigned to his Uncle Brian's firehouse. When Sean and his partner, Maggie, find evidence that a recent fire was the work of an international arms dealer, they come to a horrifying realization: Each fire was designed to kill innocent people to create a distraction so that police and investigators wouldn't notice the terrorist's other crimes taking place at the same time. Sean and Maggie find themselves caught up in an investigation where seconds count. They must use the clues to find this arsonist before he strikes again with fire or possibly something far worse.
