Life as a spy isn't what Eve Polastri imagined it to be. She spends more time answering emails and filing paperwork behind a desk than she does pursuing international and domestic threats. All of that changes when she gets the opportunity to track down an international assassin by the name of Villanelle. As the two women begin to play a game of cat and mouse, each becomes more and more obsessed with the other, and the lines between their values and what they do for a living become blurred as Polastri closes in on the trail of the psychopathic killer.
