Taking place in the shared universe first started with the Arrow TV series, this superhero ensemble show takes a more gonzo and irreverent turn than many of its continuity brethren. An ensemble cast of superheroes, rogues, and villains - many of them recurring characters from the Flash and Arrow series - have teamed up to travel into the past and avert a catastrophic future that only they can stop. Leading the charge is time traveler Rip Hunter, and the central cast stars a rotating list of DC characters that include mystical con artist John Constantine, roguish career criminal Captain Cold, and shrinking scientist Ray Palmer.
