There is no area more unforgiving than the terrain of the Alaskan wilderness. As writer Russell Core quickly discovers, it seems as if the area is teeming with wolves that may or may not be responsible for the deaths of three children. One father in particular calls upon Core to find his son-and to get to the bottom of whatever evil this is. But as Core starts to unravel what is happening outside, it seems as if nothing is making much sense.
