Four young ladies travel through their childhood into their women hood during times of war, famine, and the absense of their father. As they get older, these women begin to fall into relationships with men who promise them the world, but it takes some heart break for these women to know that they need each other more than other people in the world. While the story unfolds, music, drama, and old-fashion ways play a big part in the story.
