For Fred Flarsky, life is pretty simple. It's all about hanging out with his friends and working as a journalist. But the world as he knows it is completely upended when he runs into the beautiful woman who used to babysit him when he was a kid; she also just happens to be the Secretary of State. Now that she's launching a bid for the presidency, she'll need someone to write some great speeches for her. Since Flarsky has a writing background and knew her as a child, he seems like the obvious choice. But not everyone approves.
