Narcos is set in 1970's Colombia detailing the rise and fall of the Drug Kingpin Billionaire Pablo Escobar. Narcos gives us an inside look into the growth of one of the most massive cocaine operation in the world, as narrated by Steve Murphy, the actor playing the DEA agent working in Colombia. The initial season starts with Escobar getting into the cocaine business with a Chilean exile, after being an extremely successful black marketeer. The show ends with the fall of Escobar and eventual death in 1992. Narcos continued with the story of the Cali Cartel in their attempt to take over Escober's empire.
