After an alien force from outer space completely destroys an Australian county town, a group of survivors band together. These survivors form the best human resistance they can with limited supplies and no government help, and prepare to fight for the survival of the human race. It quickly becomes clear that they need to stay ahead of the aliens if they're going to survive or fight back efficiently, and they learn the values of teamwork and planning while attempting to destroy the alien force and ensure that the human race continues to thrive and survive.
