The Terror is a look at a fictitious version of the story of Captain John Franklin and his lost expedition in the Arctic. Franklin and his crew on two ships - the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror are attempting to explore new territory and find the Northwest Passage. However, an unfortunate fate strikes when both ships become stuck and frozen. The two ships are now isolated from one another and from outside help. In their new situation, they must battle harsh weather and one another for survival. In addition, there's another menace stalking them that they must deal with in order to survive.
