Billions is essentially a game of cat and mouse played out by humans. In this case, the players are Chuck Rhoades, Jr., a US attorney who is going after Bobby Axelrod, a hedge fund manager and 9/11 survivor whose support for charities related to it is tainted by money made through insider trading. As Chuck goes after Bobby for breaking the law, he also struggles to emerge from the shadow of his wife Wendy, a psychiatrist, and his wealthy and influential father: Chuck, Sr.
