Mom is about a single mother, Christy, who is newly sober and trying to put her wild past behind her. As she begins her new found sober journey, she is constantly challenged to remain sober from having to juggle her two children, romantic relationships, and her immature ex-husband. To make matters worse, her mom who is also a recovering addict, comes back into her life causing even more chaos by always being critical of every decision Christy makes. Christy tries to remain optimistic throughout all of her challenges as she focuses on being a good mom and remaining sober.
