One of Victor Crowley's surviving victims, Andrew, returns to the scene of so many gruesome crimes after a promise of a major payout for a television interview with him there. An unwitting filmmaking team of amateurs shows up for their own shocking shots of Honey Island Swamp, determined to get footage and win a grant for more work. What nobody realizes until its too late is that their efforts to revive the past are more successful than what they bargained for.
