The crime drama Gotham follows the early years of the original sin city before rookie cop James Gordon rose to the ranks of police commissioner. Set in the mid 1960s, Gordon begins his quest by investigating the murder of 12-year-old Bruce Wayne's parents. His investigations also pits him against several underworld criminals including Joker, Penguin and Fish Mooney, who are mired in their own fight to control Gotham City. Meanwhile young Bruce is forced to deal with the aftermath of his parent's death.
