Isaac, an actor and drama teacher, sees his life begin to unravel. His acting career is going nowhere, and his girlfriend of ten years breaks up with him. He tries to move on and starts to date again, bu he runs into some cultural differences. He is Jewish, and his new interest, Cleo, is from Jamaica. His family does not make it easy either as they begin to question his decisions and offer various forms of unsolicited advice.
