The R.A.C, or Recovery and Apprehension Coalition, is a group of bounty hunters who serve their warrants but don't get involved in planet politics. They work within the Quad, which is a group of planets on the brink of a revolution. The Jaqobis brothers, John and D'avin, work for Dutch who is the senior Killjoy and the owner of Lucy, their ship. While they capture criminals, they also have to battle their own personal demons. Dutch's background is hazy and filled with danger from a mentor she had growing up named Khlyen. They learn he's a Level 6, which is supposed to be a myth within the R.A.C organization.
