Crashing is about an aspiring comedian named Pete who finds himself in a bit of a rut after he walks in on his wife cheating on him. When his wife forces him to move out and be financially independent for the first time, he struggles to find a steady job to support himself. Pete has lived a sheltered life up until now, and his Christian upbringing doesn't always mesh well with the wild and raucous lifestyle of many of the New York comedians he encounters. Pete begins to question whether his decision to embark on the journey of the struggling artist is right for him.
