When a boat party becomes a zombie fest, medical resident Olivia "Liv" Moore finds herself waking up in a body bag to a whole new life or rather...unlife. Because of a serious hunger for brains, Liv takes a job working as an assistant to the coroner, Ravi Chakrabarti, so that she has regular access to the food she needs. She soon discovers though that brains come with a side effect: She receives partial memories from the people who die. Pretending to be a psychic, Liv uses this ability to help police solve crimes while Ravi attempts to find a cure.
