The year is 1987. Bumblebee is on the run, and has taken up refuge in a remote junkyard. Bee is found by Charlie, a girl on the verge of adulthood who is searching for her place in the world. The two form an unlikely friendship. Unfortunately, it looks like Bumblebee can't stay hidden for long. Bee and Charlie attract the attention of Sector 7, a government agency, who begin to hunt them down. It's during this chase that they discover the startling truth - Bumblebee isn't the only Transformer.
