After testing the validity of an urban legend, Chloe, a troubled teenager, finds herself haunted by the malevolent spirit of a witch. With the hope of escaping the evil spirit, Chloe retreats to the home of her estranged mother who, because of struggles with addiction, gave Chloe up years before. It isn't long for the demon finds her, and in order to survive, she must put her faith in the woman who abandoned her.
