For 16 years, audiences have been shown the life of the Griffin family on the television animated comedy Family Guy. The sitcom stars Peter Griffin, his wife Lois, children Meg, Chris, and Stewie, as well as Brian, the family dog. Episodes follow the Griffins as they do normal, everyday activities, such as going to work or school, that devolve into wild and crazy antic-filled adventures. Family Guy tackles any situation viewers can imagine, and some they certainly cannot, with biting humor and cutaway gags that tie jokes into metaphors for even the most mundane of actions.
