Intrepid investigator Hercule Poirot is returning home by train from the successful conclusion of a case he was working on when a high-profile billionaire is mysteriously murdered aboard the Orient Express. Poirot must use all his wits to discover the killer, as many of the train's passengers have more than enough motive to commit the crime. Using his characteristic investigative approach, he hones in on the possible killer with the help of an avalanche, which helps to delay the train arriving at its destination.
