In a quaint town in Hudson, Alberta, a multi-generational family experiences the highs and lows of living life on a ranch where neglected horses are brought and lovingly cared for by them. Sisters Lou and Amy along with Ty and their grandfather Jack face many challenges that include mounting debt that puts their ranch in danger of being put in foreclosure to getting stranded in the mountains when they go on a rescue mission to retrieve an injured animal.
