A man, Steve, who struggles to make sense of his current life, cuts himself off from the world on his 60th birthday. Depressed, alone, drunk, suicidal and sitting among shut off notices and tattered mementos from his life, Steve realizes that the voices in his head won't let him run away from his past. So, he revisits the most traumatic and tragic memories of his life from early childhood through adulthood to try to determine how he ended up in such a bad shape. This walk down memory lane leads Steve to hope that he can create a better outcome.
