Melea Martin is a young college student who is frustrated with the strict policies at her school in Cape Town. She decides that traditional education is not the route she wants to pursue. Instead, she wants to venture into more creative waters by renting out a theater and putting on a unique production. She settles on a hip-hop version of the classic Shakespeare tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet," but this theatrical venture is fraught with pitfalls and in-fighting. Will this determined young director find a way to pull her cast together before opening night, or will her show be a failure?
