This television series follows the story of Cassie Nightingale whose husband Jake recently died and her teenage daughter Grace. Cassie is introduced to a handsome doctor who lives next door. The series follows their growing interest in each other, the interaction between her and the doctor's ex-wife and various characters she meets at her shop. The series follows the movie series entitled Good Witch that introduced her character, watched her get married and interact with the police chief's children. The television series maintains a closeness with the movie series but has some changes in the characters in the town of Middleton.
