Amateir Night follows Guy Carter, a superstar architecture student who just finished his master's degree. With a gorgeous wife and his first child on the way, Guy seems to have the perfect life. The only trouble is, despite his academic success, he hasn't been able to find work in his field. Worried that he will not be able to financially support his growing family, Guy's wife Anne finds a job for him on Craigslist as a driver. When he shows up for his interview, he finds that he will actually be a chauffeur for three call girls. Desperate for money, he takes the job and spends a wild night learning the ins and outs of the call girl industry. Along the way he also learns a little bit about himself.
