Trapped in an impossible situation, a mother strives to protect her son, Jack, by creating a room full of imagination and childhood adventures. Jack loves the world he and his mother have created within 'room', but as his fifth birthday comes and goes, his mother feels it's time to introduce him to what lies beyond those four walls. Escaping consistency and entering the world outside will spark discovery and wonder for Jack and return the freedom that was taken from his mother so many years ago.
