Jim Beale is a physicist who dreams of time travel. After he invents a machine that turns his dreams into reality, he begins to question everything - especially after the appearance of a rare flower that seems to have come from the future. After a seductive, mysterious woman becomes a part of his life, Beale fears that she plans to steal his work. He uses his machine to travel into the past to stop this woman and learn her secrets, but all too soon his journey leads him to unexpected truths about everything he took for granted in his life.
