The Originals is a spinoff of the show the Vampire Diaries. Here, we find the thousand-year-old Mikaelson siblings, Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah, returning to New Orleans for the first time since 1919. The three siblings, who built the city, left it in the hands of Marcel, who they now must take down in order to regain control. While doing this, they also must deal with unfinished business and avenge all those who have done them wrong. All the while, the Mikaelson siblings become increasingly entrenched in an impending war between the vampires, witches, and werewolves.
