Grey's Anatomy is a TV medical drama series. It is set in a hospital in Seattle, Washington, and the show follows both the personal and professional lives of those characters who work for that hospital. Unlike most hospital dramas, the show concerns itself more with the relationships between the staff members than with medical cases. Meredith, the original main character, is an intern at Grace-Mercy West hospital. The show initially revolved around Meredith and other interns, but in six seasons has grown to include a quirky ensemble cast.
