10,000 days ago, the Earth was hit by Comet 23, a massive comet with the destructive force of hundreds of nuclear weapons. The impact of the comet triggered a new ice age, and 27 years into the future, survivors struggle to live in the frozen wasteland. The Beck clan battles against the elements while defending themselves from people who try to steal their supplies.
