Archival footage, interviews and previously unreleased musical tracks give new insight into the life, career and tragic death of talented and troubled musician Amy Winehouse. Amy grows from a 14-year-old girl happily performing at a friend's birthday party into a young woman who achieves critical and commercial success as a singer and songwriter while dealing with an eating disorder, drug and alcohol abuse, a compulsion to harm herself and troubled personal relationships. Eventually, her short, troubled life ends in her tragic death at the age of 27, but her legacy lives on in her music.
