7.3Murder in the First's first season follows SFPD detectives Terry English and Hildy Mulligan in their quest to solve two murders. The death of a pregnant flight attendant and a man killed in a drug den shooting are quickly linked to tech genius Erich Blunt. Evidence mounts against Blunt, the father of the unborn child, as English deals with the conclusion of his wife's terminal illness. Confessions are made and retracted as the case goes to trial. The final resolution occurs through the revelation of NSA surveillance. Season two follows English and Mulligan in pursuit of a student perpetrator of a school bus shooting.
