A family of Los Angeles transplants visit a park, where they happen upon a mysterious man that generously invites the three over for a family dinner. With the promise of a playdate for the children and an exquisite meal for the adults, couple Alex and Emily happily oblige. However, as the night progresses, the innocent family get-together appears to take a more and more confusing turn as everyone's motivations become less and less clear.
