The Vatican Tapes is about two Vatican priests who review videotapes of exorcisms as part of their duties. One day, they encounter a tape of an exorcism gone horribly wrong and investigate. They find a young woman who is possessed and must initiate an exorcism. It develops that not only does the woman's soul need to be saved, but Satan himself may be starting to unfold his master plan through her.
