With the beautiful city of Boston as a backdrop, follow detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles as they unravel mysteries and solve crimes. While they are complete opposites, the chemistry between the two main characters is amazing and enjoyable. Rizzoli is the only female member of the Homicide Division while Isles is more comfortable working with her dead clients. Their lighthearted banter is a diversion for their very serious, sometimes grizzly work. The supporting cast adds depth to the show. As they all work together to bring about justice, they also take care of each other.
