Billy Hope is a boxer who has worked very hard to achieve success. He has endured many painful fights and abject humiliation, but he is finally on the verge of true greatness. However, the stronger his career becomes, the more of a toll it takes on his personal life. His marriage to his devoted wife Maureen especially suffers. He's longed to be a champion all of his life, but he begins to wonder if the sacrifices he must make are too great. Is it possible for him to have it all, or must he choose between his marriage and career?
