A young woman is on the run from the law, and being a fugitive is an exhausting life. She just wants to go someplace where she won't be found, and she thinks that she has discovered the perfect hideaway in a desert motel called The Frontier. When the owner offers her the chance to work for her, it seems like the perfect opportunity, but this woman harbors a deep and disturbing secret. The young fugitive soon finds herself in the clutches of a crazy woman, and getting picked up by the police no longer seems like such a terrible thing.
