Kaia and her boyfriend Andrew have chosen to renovate the secluded estate belonging to Kaia's family that was left to her by her deceased father. The renovations go as planned until Kaia's younger sister, Christine, comes home to announce that she is pregnant. Soon after, Christine's fiance Ira arrives and the second couple soon disrupts the harmony that Kaia and Andrew have established with jealousy and tension. After Christine returns to her childhood behavior of sleepwalking and then disappears, Kaia finds herself questioning her perception of reality as she attempts to find her sister and regain some level of control.
