Freedom, Florida is the destination for three young people researching the topic of feral children for an upcoming graphic novel. While interviewing locals, they are warned of the dangers ahead should they continue their quest to examine local legends. The three are captured by Runyan, a local madman, who places them in an abandoned high school with other captives who are forced to survive in a dire situation by killing for sustenance.
