The Mindy Project follows the eponymous character of Mindy Lahiri as she navigates a complicated string of romantic relationships in New York. Mindy is a gynecologist who's working to find a comfortable balance between her romantic and professional life. A co-worker at the same small gynecologist practice named Danny is a recurring romantic interest throughout the first three seasons of the show. Mindy had a real fling with Jeremy, an attractive British gynecologist also at the practice, during the show's premiere season. The Mindy Project is another example of a series that strikes the right balance between romance and comedy. Each episode is chock full of offbeat characters and intriguing trysts.
