This 'Vampire Diaries' spin-off series gives us a look at the first family of vampires - The Mikaelsons - as they return to the city where they felt at home years after watching it burn. Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah have the honor of being the very first vampires. All others are descended from them. But that doesn't exactly make them royalty when they attempt to settle back down in the family homestead in New Orleans, especially when they're protecting a pregnant werewolf carrying a vampire's baby. Instead, old friends are new enemies as they are met with suspicion and hostility.
